To All,
The Praise Celebration was a wonderful success. We had a total of 5 groups/praise teams lead in Praise to the Lord. I felt that there wasn't ever a time that the Spirit was not present. For those who could not attend, here is a rundown of the nights events:
We started the night in prayer with all the participants of the Celebration. We had all the leaders of the groups pray over the night. At 6:00 PM, co-founder Sara Sabo started the night off by explaining our mission and introducing the first group, Christian Life Assembly of Willimantic, Ct. They provided the first set of music. They had a wonderful band and singing group. They started off the night with a very full sound of praise and wonderful harmony..
The second group of the night was the praise team and band from the Abiding Word church in Chaplin. The blessing from this group was two-fold. A joyous combination of music and youth. This group lead in praise and worship.
The next group to perform was the band and praise team from Norwich Assembly of God, Norwich, Ct. This group came to us with a total package of band and praise team. They lead their set with a variety of songs that provided a fullness of worship in the building.
Forth, was the praise team from the Lighthouse Church of God from Plainfield, Ct. This group provided full praise excitement with a small size. A band of one and a team of 6 singers made a large sound of praise.
The final group to perform was the band and singers from Christian Fellowship Church of Scotland, Ct. This band and praise group used a unique style variation of some older songs to give them a new and wonderful flavor. They also lead up through song and scripture to an altar call.
One young girl gave her life to the Lord!!! Praise His Name!!!
I was told by numerous people that they couldn't believe what had just happened. We took different denominations and brought them together to Praise God TOGETHER!!! One person stated that she might like to have CCA come to her church and talk about what we are doing and and another wanted us to help them promote outreach into the community.
Keep praying that we have a bigger and better one next time. Oh, by the way, we are looking for a place to hold our next Praise Celebration.Do you know where we could have it?
