| THE DONUTMAN |
| To All, The events only get better and better! We were expecting 300 to 400 people. We had much more and we were blessed beyond imagination. God moved in the kids and I believe in some adults too. We started the concert at 3:05 pm since people were still arriving. At one point the line was all the way around the corner of the building to get in. That was an awesome sight. We had over 500 people show up. The estimated amount was around 520 kids and adults. I was told it was very hard to count with all the kids moving and jumping around. Out of all the people we estimate that 350 them were kids between the ages of 2 and 9. There was standing room only in the church! The concert started with the question of "What does a Donutman look like? Does he have a whole in his center or does he have sprinkles?" The kids responded "NO!" as the Donutman appeared and told how he was going to teach the MC why he was called the Donutman. He gave about an hour show with the kids being brought up on stage at times to have them act out parts of his songs. He had the kids (and adults) jumping in their seats, stomping on the ground and singing all out. Towards the end of the concert the kids got to meet 'Ducan' the donut, and found out how to be a helper. (Ducan said "AAAAAHHHHH"! and ran away. He hadn't ever cleand his room.) At the very end of the show. The Donutman (Rob Evans) ask the children if they wanted Jesus in their hearts they were to repeat the salvation prayer that he said. It was ASTOUNDING! WE HAD ABOUT 350 CHILDREN REPEAT THIS PRAYER! THANK YOU JESUS!!! Pray for these children! The job is not done yet. Now they need to be trained up in the way of the Lord. After the concert, the Donutman met with all children afterwards. He even made special time to meet with an autistic child so he would not miss out. When the day was over we were all very tired but blessed beyond measure. We are planning to have him back in the future.
