| Gospel Luncheon |
| To All, A whole day of God can only be Great! After people hopefully came from their church services in the morning, we started the lunch at Wrights Mill at 12:30. This allowed people to get out of church and then come for a meal they didn't have to cook themselves. This monthes lunch consisted of a Pasta Dish and Salad with a brownie on the side. A soda came with the meal also. This was a great time of fellowship and meal. We had about 50 for the meal. It was wonderful. After the meal, we started the entertainment. Fist to start was our own singer from Scotland Ct, Tom Bassette. He started out with songs like 'Watch the Lamb'. His prayer of salvation for all was very much known during his performance. We thank him for giving his voice to the Lord. The next person who played for us was Roy Oshima. He played his violin for us with a whole orcherestra background CD behind backing him up. The soloist was a wonderful blessing to all as he made his violin sing. I believe I speak for all, that as wonderful as it was to hear Roy play for us, the most special event happened when he brought up his daughter. Thanks to both of them for beautiful music. The featured singer was Mary Shuttleworth. She has a melodius voice that touches your heart without effort. She sang many of her own songs that will hit home with many people. She also had a message of salvation for the people in the room. We would like to say thank you to her for also doing what God has spoken to her to do. If you get a chance to see her, make sure you take that opportunity. This was another show of how God can take a small idea and turn it into an awesome ministry. We look forward to more events like this in the near future. Also, we would like to take a second to thank Wrights Mill Farm for working with us to have these events at their pavillion. Thanks again.
