| Praise Festival |
| To All, What a beautiful day. We had a total of over 20 particiapiants. We had 8 groups/singers on stage. We had a kids pavilion with christian kids movies, clowns, Papa Pockets and face painting. We had a prayer tent with people being able to pray all day long. We had lots and lots of food (my personal favorite was the cotton candy). God provided a beautiful day. 90 plus degrees and lots of Son. We totalled about 400 people at the Praise Fest. Lots of young kids. The stage events were awesome. We had the groups Redeemed, Harvest, Simple Truth, Norwich Assembly Praise Team, Released, 5TW and Red Embers. We also had soloists of Mary Shuttleworth and Justin Wade. Preacher Wickie and Ruffles were also on stage. We also had an Open Mic Hour with just people coming out of the stands to sing praises to the Lord. It was Great! We had a flutest, bagpipes, guitarist and some singers come up while members of Redeemed and Norwich Assembly back some of the singers up. As one of the musicians, it was fun. The vendors consisted of T-shirts to toys, as well as crafts to paintings. Also MADD, dental people and Ladies Teen Challange of Providence RI. Most of the people that came to the event stayed almost all day. The Seed of Abraham of Willimantic, helped with the parking while also having a booth and telling about their ministry. We had many helpers and next year we will need more as we grow. Below are some pictures of the Praise Festival. If you didn't make it, we pray that you are there next time.
